We have been contacted by some of our commercial insureds asking about a bond for their Tullahoma (TUB) utilites. Apparently the previous deposit method through TVA has been discontinued. TUB requires two times the highest prior 12 month bill. This can be substantial. They will accept a deposit, a letter of credit or a bond. The good news for qualified customers is, we can offer the bond.
To obtain a bond, a simple application needs to be completed plus the amount required by TUB. Rates are determine by the financial information furnished. Turn around time for approval and cost is usually within 24 hours.
If you find yourself in need please give us a call.

For those contractors who are wondering if all the rumors about the appeal, suspension or altering of Tenn. Code Ann.50-6-113 are true the answer is "NO." Those who fall under this code will be require to be covered on workers compensation effective 12/31/2009. The code offers a very limited exemption. Any of you who are in the Assign Risk "Pool" will have to notify the assigned carrier of the election to come under the Worker Compensation. Those of you in the voluntary market are subject to your individual carrier method of coverage.
